Petition für "The Witcher" auf Linux
Verfasst: 29.04.2007, 09:24Der Publisher des sehr vielversprechend aussehenden The Witcher (cd projekt) hat die idee einer native Version des Rollenspiels wohl verworfen.
Nun wurde eine Petition gestartet um den Publisher doch noch zu einem Linux installer zu bewegen.
Das Spiel selbst ist ein Storylastiges Rollenspiel mit einem einzigartigen Helden und komplexen aber trotzdem einfach zu bedienenden Kampfsystem.

- Most quests can be accomplished in several ways.
- Three different endings that depend on players actions and choices throughout the whole adventure.
- Dynamic and visually spectacular action
- Real time combat with motion captured animations performed by a master of medieval sword combat.
- Ragdoll and rigid body physics, powered by Criterion’s Karma Engine to simulate interaction with opponents as well as elements of surrounding.

I am appealing to people from CD Project RED in each fan of "The Witcher" games name, using Linux operating system for creating native installator for this system platform. Linux is more often and often used operating system, that is why we feel victims, and we are asking for reconsidering this decision. Each game developer, who thinks about future and values new solutions, should fix their attention on the biggest possible group of customers, and try to extend this group. Creating native installator for Linux for "The Witcher" game is a step to do it. We, signed below, are asking for affirmative answer for this petition."
