Hallo zusammen,

ich habe mich gerade auf linux-amers.net umgesehen und habe folgenden Eintrag gefunden:

Interessant ist, dass hier ein Linux Installer angegeben wird.
Nur klickt man auf den Link ist dieser nicht mehr aufzufinden.

War für mich interessant und wollte nur wissen, ob es da irgendwelche "Probleme" gab.
Weiß da vielleicht jemand was?

Die Seite "Loki Installer for Linux Gamers" (kurz liflg) bieten schon länger keine Installer mehr für Windows Spiele an.
Begründet wird es damit, unter anderem, das heutzutage meist ein "wine setup.exe" reicht.

All games we had installers for can be installed and played with the help of Wine. So there is no need for those anymore, most of them are outdated anyway. Another main reason is, that it is nearly impossible for the Wine developers to track down runtime errors if the game was not installed using Wine. Also one game can have a dazzling variety of versions which makes it really hard to support installers for all those.
So we decided to close our Wine/Cedega section and to focus more on native games."

Als ich es das letzte Mal probiert habe, ging es zumindest nicht.
