Erstmal Hallo (bin neu hier :O )

Ich hab folgendes Problem.
Wenn ich Steam per Wine 0.9.22 installieren will kommt
folgendes in der Konsole
Warning: the specified Windows directory L"c:\\windows" is not accessible.
Warning: the specified System directory L"c:\\windows\\system32" is not accessible.
Warning: the specified Windows directory L"c:\\windows" is not accessible.
Warning: the specified System directory L"c:\\windows\\system32" is not accessible.

err:wineboot:main Cannot set the dir to c:\windows (2)

und auf meinen per winecfg emulierten Desktop steht kommt ein fenster das schreibt:
Could not initialize installation. C:\windows\temp\GLC3c8.tmp Path not found

Kann mir jemand sagen wie ich Steam per Wine installieren kann oder was ich falsch mache?

ja ich hab alles wie im How To gemacht:
1:Wine installiert.
2. Tahoma Fonts geladen und in den entsprechenden Ordner

Und schritt 3 geht nicht :wie oben geschrieben kommt die fehlermeldung:
Could not initialize installation. C:\windows\temp\GLC3c8.tmp Path not found

Das sieht für mich nach einem Problem mit den Zugriffsrechten aus !

Wine sollte man nie als root Ausführen !

Gib in eine Konsole ein:

Code: Alles auswählen

sudo rm -fr ~/.wine

(dies löscht den gesamten wine Ordner)

..danach als normaler nutzer..

winecfg

(dies erstellt ein neues Verzeichnis)

Danach geh die Schritte vom "How to" nochmal durch !

Danke Steam funktioniert nun und die Active X Control auch
